Founded in 2003, OPEN CINEMA is dedicated to the innovative use of cinema as a tool for community engagement. Screenings of social issue documentaries in cafe-style venues are followed by open forum discussion with invited guests.
Our innovative value-added program 'Connect the Docs' amplifies the live engagement: same-day multi-city screenings of the film are accompanied by social media engagement, venue-to-venue connectivity and live-streamed discussion.
We support and champion local green sustainable values and activities.
